Congratulations to Sans Souci’s trumpet player, Veronique Nappie, who is one of 8 South African pupils to be selected, by means of an audition with Modern Rock School Academy, to perform in Sweden during October this year. Veronique will be representing our country at the Global Child Forum Conference that will take place at Sweden’s royal palace. This event was initiated in 2009 by Her Majesty, Queen Silvia, and the pupils will meet her at this event. As part of the cultural exchange, these young musicians will also be visiting various Swedish schools. Veronique’s all-expenses-paid trip is being funded by the Global Child Forum.
