It was so amazing to play on the
Jazzfestival in JHB and all the other gigs but for me (and I think for many
other musicians from Kicks and Sticks) the concert in Alex Township was the
biggest emotional highlight. To see what these kids can make with such low
financial opportunities. That was just stunning! That music, they made went
straight into my heart!"
